Liposuction

Type the word "liposuction" on Google's search engine and you'll get a search result of approximately 3,850,000.

It’s no surprise that the search results are as high as they are.

That’s one more confirmation of just how many people are struggling with how to lose belly fat or just losing weight in general and the lengths (and risks) they are willing to go to in order to get there.

On the surface, it sounds like a great ‘quick fix’.... until you begin to store fat in places you didn’t think you could.

Apparently, when you surgically remove fat cells from any specific area of the body, and make no changes in the unhealthy lifestyle that got you there in the first place, your body will naturally compensate for this.

How does your body compensate for the fat cells that were removed?

It will redistribute any new excess fat stores to your arms, thighs, ankles, knees, arms, neck….basically any other location where you still have fat cells.

You get the picture I’m painting here, right?

Average liposuction costs these days (in the U.S.) can set you back anywhere from $3,000. (for legs and thighs) to $8,000. for upper & lower stomach areas.

Costs vary of course, and are dependent on many factors i.e., location, surgeon’s experience, the amount of fat to be removed, the number of areas being treated as well as any extra surgical costs and post-op fees.

Be sure you’re well informed about all procedures and costs before hand.

For some people this can be the ideal solution for getting rid of a beer belly or excess stomach fat, but consider making changes in your eating habits and lifestyle as well.
