Steady blood sugar levels reduce cravings and help curb appetite so I want to stress that vegetables be mainly used for juicing for weight loss purposes.
They’re lower in natural sugar, carbohydrate and glycemic index chart listing than fruits and won’t trigger off a flood of fat storing insulin hormones.
These two recipes are super simple, fast and convenient (just what I like) using healthy fruits and vegetables that are readily available.
They taste great; they’re packed with nutrition and will help you feel full and satisfied – so you’ll eat less!
You can add a little fruit for sweetness – just don’t go hog wild with them to keep blood sugar levels stable.
I usually mix one up and drink it just before lunch and again just before my evening meal.
They help to curb my appetite (so I can eat less and still feel satisfied) and they can help stop food cravings during the day (caused by a drop in blood sugar level) because they help stabilize blood sugar levels.
Feel free to tweak them to suit your own personal taste and don’t be afraid to experiment. I’ve included a few optional ingredient suggestions too.
A little pre-planning is great but don’t prepare your juice blends too far in advance.
The healthy active enzymes in your drink will begin to decrease quickly, so drink your juice within an hour of preparing it for maximum nutrition.
When possible, buy organic produce and avoid the shellac/wax coatings and pesticides typically used on fruits and vegetables.
Juice Recipes for Weight Loss
Belly Fat Blaster Juice Recipe # 1
2 - 4 carrots
1 large celery stalk
1 small apple
juice of ½ lemon (or to taste)
Optional: a small handful of spinach, parsley or beet, a clove of raw garlic (adjust to taste)
Drink immediately.

Fruit Smoothie
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1 cup fresh or frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries or raspberries)
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 scoop whey protein powder
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Makes 2 cups.
Your juicing for fat loss purposes can be turbo charged with high alkaline foods. Alkaline foods help to curb appetite, stop food cravings and balance your body’s natural pH level.
